Vector control decisions often rely on surveillance efforts to determine the best time and place to enact control measures. As RaHP VEC works to evaluate surveillance coverage in our region, this page will be updated to contain maps of mosquito activity, vector-borne disease cases, and insecticide resistance in the region.

VectorSurv

A CDC-funded operational surveillance system which seeks to improve real-time vector surveillance and decision-making at the local through federal level. As we work to develop partnerships and increase surveillance coverage in our region, our data will be shared to enhance the national resolution of vector and disease surveillance.

ArboNET

The national arboviral surveillance system, managed by CDC and state health departments, maintains data on arboviral infections among presumptive viremic blood donors, veterinary disease cases, mosquitoes, dead birds, and sentinel animals, in addition to human disease.
